Fitness Room Closing for the Summer
The Grass Lake High School's Fitness Room will be available to community members through Thursday, June 8, 6:00-7:30 AM, and 6:00-9:00 PM. It will then be closed to the community for the summer, but it will re-open for its regular hours on Wednesday, August 23, 2017, on all days when school is in session.

The Hall of Fame Football Game will be played Friday, October 13 at the Joe Bechtel Athletic Complex, and the Hall of Fame banquet and induction ceremony will be held Saturday, October 14, in the Grass Lake High School Auditorium. Congratulations to these fine athletes.
2017 "Fear the Spear" Football Camp Announced -
The Grass Lake High School coaching staff will be hosting the 2017 “Fear the Spear” Football Camp, which will be held at Grass Lake High School Monday, July 10th through Thursday, July 13, 6–8:30 PM each day. This camp is for all Jackson area football players entering grades 1-12 for the 2017-2018 school year. Cost is $30 before July 1 and $40 after July 1, or at the door. 2017 Cascades Conference Scholar/Athletes Named
Congratulations to our Grass Lake High School students who have been honored as 2017 Cascades Conference Scholar/Athletes. To be honored as such students must have maintained at least a 3.4 GPA through their entire HS career, as well as having played at least two varsity sports each year of their High School career. Congratulations to these students for their high level of achievement!

Youth Football Sign-Ups May 22 and June 26
ATTENTION GRASS LAKE STUDENTS GOING INTO THE 3RD THROUGH 6TH GRADES THIS FALL!
Grass Lake Youth Football will be having SIGN UPS on Monday May 22nd, and Monday June 26th from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at Grass Lake High School. This league will give the opportunity for Grass Lake teams to play a schedule of six games against various Jackson County schools. Jonathan Lutchka Receives Achievement Scholarship
The Michigan Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (MIAAA) has announced that Grass Lake three-sport standout and scholar athlete Jonathan Lutchka is a recipient of one of their $1,000 scholarships. Awards are based on athletic and academic achievement, as well as participation in extra-curricular activities in and outside of school. The Grass Lake Warrior Club is an integral part of the athletic programming at Grass Lake Community Schools. The Club's financial support allows for the purchase of new equipment, as well as the maintenance of existing equipment. The Warrior Club is in need of members and officers to continue to do their work. All interested parties are welcome. If you are interested in checking out the Club, they meet on the first Monday of every month at 7:00 PM in the Grass Lake High School office conference room. Everyone is welcome to attend.
