Assistant Principal/Athletic Director Position Change
Effective November 1, 2017, Mr. Brian Zalud will become the Assistant Principal/Athletic Director at Grass Lake High School. Mr. Zalud comes to us the from Ovid-Elsie school district where he is currently a teacher and coach. Mr. Eric McCalla, who has served our school district as a teacher, coach, and administrator for over 15 years, has accepted a position at Manchester Community Schools as the Principal of their High School that educates that district's 7th through 12th graders. We wish both of these gentlemen great success in their new positions.
2017 Cascades Conference Scholar/Athletes Named
Congratulations to our Grass Lake High School students who have been honored as 2017 Cascades Conference Scholar/Athletes. To be honored as such students must have maintained at least a 3.4 GPA through their entire HS career, as well as having played at least two varsity sports each year of their High School career. Congratulations to these students for their high level of achievement!

Jonathan Lutchka Receives Achievement Scholarship
The Michigan Interscholastic Athletic Administrators Association (MIAAA) has announced that Grass Lake three-sport standout and scholar athlete Jonathan Lutchka is a recipient of one of their $1,000 scholarships. Awards are based on athletic and academic achievement, as well as participation in extra-curricular activities in and outside of school.
